All of our clothes are made from chenille. which is sourced piece by painstaking piece throughout Australia, from loving homes with family history attached to most. the journey can be long, and they often pass through many hands on their way to bespoke betty. we only buy 100% cotton Australian made chenille from the fifties through to the seventies or eighties. many pieces come with beautiful stories and in mint condition, a testament to the value of an item of beauty when life is hard, or times are tough.
We design in our backyard over a gin or two and love the ideas that come with the passion of sustainability. like the plate to paddock or the nose to tail movements we use every piece of the chenille and have a no waste policy.
